Nail Surgery

Nail Surgery

Nail surgery can be recommended if conservative measures fail to respond. The procedure involves anaesthetising the affected toe and once the toe is completely numb, the offending toenail is removed and a chemical is applied to prevent regrowth. As it is considered a minor surgery, we like to recommend this procedure for children aged 13 and beyond.
