Genu Varum

Genu varum also known as bowed legs, is when the child stands with their feet together and there is a distinct space between the lower legs and knee. This is due to either one or both legs curving out.

Causes of genu varum include;

  • Physiological (normal growth and development)
  • Blouts disease
  • Rickets
